PRABHUJOT KUMAR b. 1984

Prabhujot Kumar (b.1984, Patiala, Punjab) completed his BFA in Painting at the University of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, in 2010.

His works have been exhibited in solo shows at Lalit Kala Akademi, Rabindra Bhawan, New Delhi, 2016; and Nirala Art Gallery, Allahabad University, Uttar Pradesh, 2013. His group shows include exhibitions at NCZCC Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, 2012; Nine Fish Art Gallery, Mumbai, 2017; and Abir Art Gallery, Ahmedabad, 2023.

He has received an award in the 89th Annual All India Art Exhibition, AIFACS, New Delhi, 2016.

His practice explores the idea of inner conflict as an inevitable part of human growth. Drawing from childhood memories, ancient symbols, and the silent language of form, his work reflects the dialogue between life and art. Through ink, line, and structure, his abstractions invite reflection on the coexistence of chaos and harmony within the self.

Prabhujot lives and works in New Delhi, India.
