Jaydev Chosala (b. 1996, Palitana, Gujarat) received his Diploma, Painting and Arts Teacher’s Diploma, Sheth Chimanlal Nagindas College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad, 2018, 2019.

His works have been exhibited at Gujarat Lalit Kala Academy, Ahmedabad, 2014, 2017; Gujarat Visual Artist Association, Ahmedabad, 2015; Kala Ravi Trust Competition Exhibition, Ahmedabad, 2016; Gujarat Kala Pratishthan Painting Exhibition, Surat, 2017; and International Creative Art Centre Art Gallery, Ahmedabad, 2020. He was awarded the Gujarat Kala Pratishthan Painting Award, 2017.

Using mixed media techniques and brush-based applications, Jaydev builds layered textures that evoke the quiet transitions of sunrises and sunsets. These abstract landscapes, expressed through the shifting light of nature, aim to communicate stillness, inner reflection, and silent beauty. Inspired by the geometry of nature, the delicate forms in his work echo the formations of mountain ridges, the branching of trees, and various cloud formations. His work represents his interpretation of viewing landscapes as an emotional, transient and sensory experience.

Jaydev lives and works in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
