Kashin Patel (b. 1997, Mumbai, Maharashtra) received her BFA in Painting, Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai, 2020, and MA, Royal College of Art, London, 2022.


She has exhibited her work in solo shows at RuptureXIBIT +studio, London, 2022; and Method Bandra, Mumbai, 2023. Her works have been exhibited in group shows at ikattha, Mumbai, 2019; Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, 2020; Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai, 2020; Students Biennale, Kochi Biennale Foundation, 2021(online); Sala Salon, London, 2021; Royal College of Art, London, 2021(online); The Function Suite, London, 2022; Millennium Art Gallery, The Bhavan, London, 2022; Open Ealing, London, 2022; Method Juhu, Mumbai, 2023; Method Kala Ghoda, Mumbai, 2024; Beep Painting Prize Biennial, Elysium Gallery, Swansea, 2024; Kunstraum Kreuzberg, Berlin, 2024; and Art on a Postcard(Winter Auction), Bomb Factory, London, 2025. Her practice is rooted in meditations on the creative process, where anxiety, repetition, and mark-making become ways of recording time. Beginning with drawing, she embraces its intimacy and immediacy, allowing transient thoughts to evolve into reflections of psychological and emotional states. Engaging with ideas of perception, consciousness, and artistic intent, her ongoing paintings expand into text, diagrams, and even meme-making, opening playful and layered extensions of practice.
