Darshini Dalwadi Patel (b. 1988, Ahmedabad, Gujarat) completed her B.V.A., Applied Art, Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, 2009; and M.Des, Textile Design, National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, 2014. Her works have been exhibited in group shows at Amdavad ni Gufa, Ahmedabad, 2025; 079 Stories, Ahmedabad, 2025; Anant Art Gallery, Delhi, 2025; Exhibit 320, Delhi, 2025 and Sikao, Mumbai, 2026. She was selected for Residency at Space Studio, Vadodara, 2025.

Darshini’s work is inspired by abstract ideas, landscapes, and different materials through which she strives to create the feeling of immersive spaces within her artworks. Using reclaimed materials from abandoned industrial sites, she creates tactile landscapes that embody memory, erosion, touch, and transformation. Through fabric manipulation, natural dyeing, and mark-making, she continues her exploration of how sustainable practices reveal nature’s profound transformations over time.

Darshini lives and works in Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
