Aman Kumar Bavariya (b. 1997, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh) completed his BFA and MFA, Government College of Fine Arts, Jabalpur, 2023, 2025.

His works have been exhibited in group shows at UDGAM, 2021; Sanskriti Vibhag Art Camp, Bhojpur, 2022; UNICEF Art for Change, 2023; Raiya Rupankar Kala Puraskar Avam Pradarshani, Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, 2024; and Student’s Biennale, Kochi, 2025-26. He has been awarded by the University Level Youth Festival, 2023; and was selected for the Kala Sakshi Memorial Trust Residency, Delhi, 2024. His works are part of the collections at Apre Art House, Mumbai; and Kala Sakshi Memorial Trust, Delhi. He has attended residencies at the Space Studio Residency, Baroda; and MAIR Edition 7, Apre Art House, Mumbai, 2024. He was a part of the Kochi Biennale, 2026.

His practice is rooted in memories of his grandmother’s weaving, inspiring a layered approach to colour, texture, and perspective. Through acrylic paintings that echo the tactile quality of woven fabrics, he reinterprets everyday scenes to reveal their quiet beauty and connect personal memory with broader social narratives. Aman’s art seeks to inspire reflection by seeking beauty in the mundane. By utilising research gathered from his diverse travels, Aman's practice draws from his observations of nature, everyday life, and socio-cultural realities.

Aman Kumar lives and works in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India.
