Overview

Aman Kumar Bavariya (b. 1997, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh) completed his BFA and MFA at Government College of Fine Arts, Jabalpur, 2023, 2025.

His works have been exhibited in group shows at UDGAM, 2021; Sanskriti Vibhag Art Camp, Bhojpur, 2022; UNICEF Art for Change, 2023; Raiya Rupankar Kala Puraskar Avam Pradarshani, Bhopal, 2024; and Students’ Biennale, Kochi, 2025-26. His works are part of the collections at Apre Art House, Mumbai, and Kala Sakshi Memorial Trust, Delhi. He has attended residencies at the Space Studio Summer Residency, Baroda, and MAIR Edition 7, Apre Art House, Mumbai, 2024.

Aman's acrylic paintings, rooted in memories of his grandmother’s weaving, evoke woven fabrics' tactile quality through layered colour, texture, and perspective. They celebrate everyday life's innate beauty, blending personal memory with social narratives and research-driven insights from his travels observing nature and socio-cultural realities.
