ANUMEHA JAIN b. 1982

Overview

Anumeha Jain (b. 1982, Lakhana, Etawah, Uttar Pradesh) earned her MFA in Painting from Dr B.R. Ambedkar University’s Lalit Kala Sansthan, Agra (2004).

 

Her solo exhibitions include Lalit Kala Sansthan, Agra (2003); Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi (2023); and Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal (2025). Group shows feature Lalit Kala Sansthan, Agra (2004); World Art Show, Dubai (2019); Samskara Sahithi, Thiruvananthapuram (2020); NGMA, New Delhi (2021); Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi (2021); AAFT, Noida (2025); and Method Art Gallery, New Delhi (2025).

She was awarded the Ministry of Culture's Junior Research Fellowship for Outstanding Artists in Painting (2019–2021, Government of India). Her works are in collections at Bharat Bhawan (Bhopal) and Lalit Kala Akademi (Shimla and Delhi).

 

Rooted in the divine interplay of life, existence, and the universe, her art draws from cosmic colours, motions, and cycles of creation-destruction, manifesting instinct, memory, and consciousness in a spiritual journey.

 

Anumeha lives and works in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
