Through his practice, Mousam aspires to translate the concealed elements of nature into rooted, abstract, geometric expressions. Inspired by remnants of sea shells, corals, and organic fragments observed along Mumbai’s shores, he explores their rhythm and structure as counterparts to terrestrial forms. Working with minimal colours, he emphasises purity, silence, and depth, letting foundational form take precedence over ornamentation. His paintings function as meditations, mapping a space where geometry, memory, and emotion converge, reflecting both his inner self and his bond with nature.
Mousam lives and works in New Delhi, India.
