Her practice is an intuitive, reflective process, akin to writing a diary through form. Rooted in abstraction, her fluid, hand-coiled ceramic sculptures explore spatial relationships and rhythm. She is also interested in how quiet disruptions of order and perception invite moments of pause and uncertainty, allowing meaning to remain fluid, provisional, and open. She often works in series, where subtle variation allows small shifts to unfold into complexity, each piece echoing or anticipating the next like notes in music. Through the arrangement of forms, the making process expands into a compositional field shaped by phrasing and pause, inviting a meditative dialogue between material, space, and abstraction.
Mansie lives and works in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
