KAUSHIK CHAROLIYA b. 1992

Kaushik Charoliya (b. 1992, Ahmedabad, Gujarat) received his Post Diploma in Printmaking, Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S.U. Baroda, 2022.

His works have been exhibited in group shows at Sheth C.N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, 2015; Kanoria Art Gallery, Ahmedabad, 2017; Amdavad ni Gufa, Ahmedabad, 2018, 2023, 2024; Art Incept Gallery, Delhi, 2024; and Archer Art Gallery, Ahmedabad, 2025.

He received the Kala Ravi Trust Award in Painting, 2014. He was selected for the Winter Residency at Space Studio, Baroda, Gujarat, 2022.

His practice is rooted in embracing the beauty behind the mundane. Through paintings infused with patterns originating from Indian textiles, he rejuvenates flat colours with warm and vibrant shades, celebrating the quiet influence of everyday people who spread happiness selflessly. His work invites viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with the shared tapestry of human emotions.
