About Space118 Art Foundation:
Founded in 2009, Space118 Art Foundation was established to provide grants, studio spaces, and residencies for art practitioners from India and abroad. Today, the Space118 Art Foundation Grants have created a platform for dialogue among emerging Indian artists, curators, and art practitioners by supporting the development of new work through financial grants, mentorship, cross-border knowledge exchange, creative programming, collaborative initiatives, and online community engagement.
About the Space118 Art Foundation Fine Arts Grant 2026-27:
Space118 Art Foundation invites artists across India to apply for a production grant ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 1,00,000 to support an ongoing or new project.
The grant includes:

Two online mentorship sessions

One Jury review session

A final presentation through an InstaLive Open Studio
Following are the events that take place under the Fine Arts Grant Initiative:
Icebreaker Sessions
Grant artists present their practice and current work. This session encourages dialogue, peer exchange, critical feedback, and community building.
Mentorship Sessions
Artists receive one-on-one online mentorship from established artists, curators, and art historians. These sessions offer critical feedback, guidance, and professional insight.
Social Media Outreach Platforms
We regularly feature grantees on Instagram, Facebook, and newsletters. Each artist takes over our social media for a week to share their process and engage with a wider audience.
Online Jury Review Meet
Artists present work created during the grant period to the Jury. The session offers constructive feedback and professional direction
Virtual Open Studio Day Via InstaLive
Grant recipients publicly present their final projects on InstaLive, reaching collectors, curators, galleries, and global audiences while increasing accessibility to their work.
