VETERAN gallerist Geetha Mehra’s Sakshi Gallery has a new home. Mehra has moved within Colaba into a new space in Pasta Lane. To curate the first show at the new address, she has invited Saloni Doshi, art collector and founder-director of the seminal residency, Space 118. Incidentally, this show also marks the 10th year of Space 118. Doshi shares, “Over the years, several ideas, artworks, art forms, art practices, techniques, different materials, experimentation, new methods have been discovered, learnt and un-learnt at the studios. It is this new body of work that I seek to show in this curated exhibition of 30 artists and their specific journeys.” It’s quite a list indeed. Selected artists include Neha Choksi, Mansi Bhatt, Tanya Goel, Remen Chopra, Pratap Morey, Baptist Coelho, Parag Tandel and Mustafa Khanbhai.
