See Mitch Albom novel come to life
Anyone who has read Mitch Albom’s autobiographical novel, Tuesdays with Morrie knows this is a tearjerker. The Indian adaptation, directed by Meera Khurana, is as poignant as the source material. The play explores the bond between Mitch, the student, and Morrie, his dying professor. Starring Adhaar Khurana, Akash Khurana and Lucky Vakharia.

Watch a docu on Tsunami survivors
The fierce will to survive comes to the fore in Roots (Sezoninaru) by Kaoru Ikeya. The documentary follows a 77-year-old man called Naoshi Sato, tracing his inspirational journey post the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, one of the world’s most tragic natural disasters. Even after his house turns into rubble, Sato refuses to evacuate. His sole aim is to rebuild his home and carry on with life.
