The Shifting of Silence, presented by 079|STORIES in collaboration with Space118 Art Foundation, is a fundraiser exhibition that brings together emerging artists responding to the complexities of contemporary life.
Through painting, sculpture, drawing, mixed media and textile-inspired practices, the exhibition reflects on themes of ecology, urban change, memory, identity and the evolving relationship between presence and absence. Rather than treating silence as emptiness, the works explore it as a space of reflection, resilience and transformation.
Alongside supporting emerging artistic voices, the fundraiser aims to sustain future creative practices, making the exhibition both a thoughtful artistic dialogue and a meaningful act of community support.
