When art collector and patron Kavita Singh sits down for a conversation, it's never small talk - and her next one promises substance wrapped in subtlety.

She'll be in dialogue with fellow collector Saloni Doshi at the upcoming exhibition, The Presence of Absence, curated by Kunal Shah, which gathers a rarely seen body of Indian abstraction from Doshi's two-decade-long collection.

Singh says she's known Doshi and her collecting journey "for over two decades," praising "an intuitive eye" and her "remarkable contributions to nurturing the Indian art ecosystem" through residencies and grants. Expect their exchange to trace how personal evolution mirrors artistic expression - and why, sometimes, the most powerful statements are made in silence. The show opens soon at Doshi's gallery in Mumbai.
