Kopal Seth (b. 1996, Khurai, Madhya Pradesh, India) completed her BFA, Painting from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, 2018 and MFA, Ceramics from Rhode Island School of Design, USA, 2020. Her work has been exhibited internationally at venues including MenLo Art Gallery, China 2024 ; The Clay Studio, Philadelphia 2021 The Gelman Gallery RISD Museum 2021; the Lacoste/Keane Gallery, Concord2019; Art Centrix2020, New Delhi; and 47A Gallery, Mumbai.2022. Kopal has also been an artist in residence at including MenLo Art Gallery, Jingdezhen, China (2024); Longquan Wangou Taoxichuan International Studio, Longquan City, Zhejiang Province, China (2024); Art Ichol, Maihar, Madhya Pradesh (2022); The Clay Studio, Philadelphia, PA, USA (2020–2021); and Bharat Bhawan, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (2016).


Kopal has been a recipient of NCECA Multicultural Fellowship, National Council on Education for Ceramic Arts in Sacramento, USA, 2022, a Graduate Fellowship and a Teaching Assistantship Fellowship at Rhode Island School of Design 2018-2020. Additionally, her work has garnered acclaim in various publications, including Hyperallergic, Providence Daily Dose, and Metro Philly.


Kopal's diverse portfolio engages with themes such as overpopulation, architecture, and environmental chaos resulting from human intervention. Her work delves into emotional human conflicts, capturing the complexities and nuances of life. Through her art, Kopal presents a profound exploration of contemporary issues and the human condition.


Kopal lives and works in Khurai, Madhya Pradesh, India
