Vaibhav Maruti More (b. 1987, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India) completed his G.D. Art Dip., Painting from L. S. Raheja School of Art, Mumbai, 2010, G.D. Art Dip,. Sculpture from Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, 2014 and an MFA, Creative Sculpture from Dr. Sanjay Kurhe College of Modern Art, 2023. His works have been exhibited in group shows in India at Bombay Art Society, 120th, 2012, 124th, 2016, 132nd, 2024 editions, Mumbai Biennale, Sir J.J. School of Art, Art & Soul Gallery, 2022, Lalit Kala Akademi National Exhibitions, 60th and 61st editions, The Art Society of India, Mumbai, 2016, and the Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, 2014. He has also been selected and awarded in multiple Maharashtra State Art Exhibitions, 51st to 61st editions.

Vaibhav has been awarded the Gold Medal for Best Sculpture, Sir J.J. School of Art Annual Art Exhibition 2012–13, Shri Indra Bhambhani Award, Silver Medal from the Bombay Art Society 2016 and the Governor of Maharashtra Award for Best Sculpture Entry, Bombay Art Society, 2024.


He has participated in workshops and camps organized by SCZCC and WZCC, 2017, the Dandi Marchers Sculpture Project, IIT Bombay, 2013 and the Ajanta Caves Re-discovery Camp, 2020. He also actively engages in pedagogy and conservation, having worked on restoration projects at St. Aloysius Chapel, Mangalore and Flora Fountain, Mumbai, 2017 and taught as a visiting faculty at Sir J.J. School of Art, Sculpture Department, 2019–2025.


Vaibhav’s practice spans the domains of sculpture, public art and conservation, often reflecting a deep engagement with material, heritage, and cultural memory. His works resonate with the architectural and tactile nuances of the spaces they inhabit.
