Hasmukh Makwana (b.1994, Saurashtra, Gujarat, India) completed his Diploma, Applied Arts and PDVA., Applied Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, 2019. His works have been exhibited in group shows in Champa Tree Art Gallery, Delhi, 2025, Lexicon Art Gallery, Delhi, 2024, Museum of Goa, 2020 and Kanoria Art Gallery, 2017. Additionally, he has received grants from the Lalit Kala Akademi, 2025, and Lalit Kala Award, Gujarat, 2019. Hasmukh’s work is rooted in Saurashtra.

Being born in Saurashtra, his physical, mental and spiritual development was influenced by the artistic lifestyle there with impressions of embroidery, beadwork and more around. He blends it with modern life exploring materials such as pearls, threads, fabrics using colors as mediums.

Hasmukh Makwana lives and works in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
