Vipul Badva (b. 1998, Junagadh, Gujarat, India) completed his Dip., Art Teacher and Dip., Applied Arts from Sheth C.N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad, 2021. Vipul's work has been exhibited in group shows in India including at Art Alive Gallery X The Quorum, New Delhi, 2023 and 2022, India Art Fair, by Art Alive Gallery, New Delhi, 2022, Art Alive Gallery, Delhi, 2021 and Ahmedabad Ni Gufa, Ahmedabad, 2021.


Additionally, Vipul was awarded the Shristi AIF Grant by Shrishti Art Gallery, Hyderabad, 2020.


Vipul's extensive travels to diverse locations allow him to delve into the intricacies of the world. He critically reflects on societal norms, architecture, and cultural artifacts, seeking a deeper understanding of the environments he explores. Through his journeys, Vipul gains a comprehensive perspective on the geographies, architectures, and cultural identities. His accumulated experiences, observations, and encounters are meticulously integrated into his art practices, enriching them with authenticity and depth. Vipul draws inspiration from the diverse elements, patterns, colors, mediums, and textures he encounters, playfully incorporating them to enhance the subject matter of his artistic work.
