“This is my first residency. I really like this space and the environment here. I had a good experience viewing public places and the slums of Bombay. I would really like to say thanks to staff and attenders of the studio, they are really helpful people. I enjoyed a lot while working here. Iam happy to going back with my 2 months experience. Happy to take the learning’s from here forward.

Sharath studied at Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Art (CAVA) Mysore, Karnataka. He collects materials, found objects, etc. from his surrounding culture and tries to understand the materials quality and their sense. He is inspired by private spaces and display of objects in private homes, showing their co-existence within the public space in a multi-dimensional way.
