Nayanjyoti Barman (b. 1994, Assam, India) completed his BFA , Kala Bhavana Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal, 2019, and MVA, Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, 2021.
His works have been exhibited at Student’s Biennale organized by Kochi Biennale Foundation, Kochi, 2018. Additionally, he has participated in Kala Sakshi Memorial Trust Award and residency for 2019-20, In Transit Emerging Artist Award, 2021, Space Studio Residency, Vadodara, 2021 , London, Arts Family South Asian Artist Award, 2021, Gujral foundation Artdemic Award , 2022, Lalit Kala Akademi Research Scholarship, 2022, and Hyundai Motors Art for Hope Grant, 2022.
Nayanjyoti lives and works in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
