The imagery that he creates is largely drawn from his everyday life experiences and is painted in such a way that it feels like a nostalgic trip down memory lane. The human mind registers images in a complex, multi- layered manner through our daily encounters, and his art seeks to capture this intricate process by adopting a multi-layered approach to its creation.
Pratap Manna lives and works in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
