Khanjan Maru India, b. 1983

Khanjan Maru Soni (b.1983, Baroda, Gujarat, India) completed her PG. Diploma, Printmaking, Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, 2008 and Diploma, Painting, C.N. College of Fine Art, 2006. Her works have been exhibited in group shows in India, UAE and Turkey at Cultivate Art, Tashkeel Studio, UAE, 2024, 079 Stories, Dubai, 2023, IAAF, Turkey, 2022, Al Murabba Arts Festival, Ajman, 2021, Akaas Visual Arts, UAE, 2020 and Zoca Art, India Art Fair, 2019. 

Khanjan’s work is a mirror of her innermost feelings and an extension of her core emotions.. Metamorphosis is the crux of her lineage. As humans, we are ever-evolving, hence this is the most appropriate way to attain our destiny: maturing and adapting over time through vivid experiences throughout our lifespan, holding the memoirs of the past while facing new challenges. Embracing both the bliss and uncertainties of life, she emerges victorious—survival is the essence that comes across explicitly in her works.
