Jyoti Singh (b. 1992, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, India) completed her BFA and MFA, Painting, Government Institute of Fine Art, Indore, 2021. Her works have been exhibited in groups shows in India the International Khajuraho Art Mart, Khajuraho, 2022, Auroville Art Exhibition, Chennai, Mandu Festival Exhibition, Mandu, 2021, Canary’s National Art Foundation, 2020, Goa Affordable Art Fest, 2019, Kochi Muziris Student’s Biennale, 2018, Devlalikar Kala Vithika, Indore, 2017 & 2015 and Canary's Art Gallery, Indore, 2016.
Additionally, she has also been the recipient of Keshav art Foundation Award, 2023 and Madhya Pradesh Rajya Rupankar Kala Puraskar, 2022. Jyoti’s work captures the emotions of daily life. Using ink and paper, she transforms these feelings into paintings that often depict the courtyard of her home. This space, filled with trees, plants, and imagined beings, symbolizes the world and serves as the heart of her art. Jyoti aims to preserve childhood memories of courtyards, offering viewers a chance to reconnect with their own forgotten experiences through her work.
