Surbhi attained her M.F.A from Chelsea College of Art and Design, University of the Arts, London (2008–10), and a B.A. (Hons) in Sociology from Jesus & Mary College, Delhi University (2000). She worked as a curatorial assistant with Dr. Alka Pande at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi (2007–09), and as a gallery representative at Saatchi Gallery, London (2011). She has participated in various group shows including India Art Fair (2018), United Art Fair (2013 & 2014), Queens Gallery, British Council, New Delhi (2012), Bankside Gallery (2012), Kensington Palace (2010), World Art College Vision Exchange (WAVE) at Wimbledon College of Art (2010), and Bespoke Space, East Dulwich (2011). Her commissioned works are part of various collections, including at the India Habitat Centre (2015 & 2016). The artist lives and works in Delhi.
